Crude steel production in Africa was 1.3 million tonnes in November 2022, down 11.4% year on year; Crude steel output in Asia and Oceania was 101.4 million tons, up 2.7% year on year; Crude steel production in the European Union (27) was 10.5 million tons, down 17.9% year on year; Crude steel production in other European countries was 3.2 million tons, down 25.1% year on year; Crude steel production in the Middle East was 4 million tons, up 11.6% year on year; North American crude steel production was 8.9 million tons, down 6.3% year on year; Crude steel production from Russia and other CIS countries plus Ukraine was 6.5 million tons, down 24.6% year on year; Crude steel production in South America was 3.4 million tons, down 14.3 percent year on year.

In November 2022, China's crude steel output was 74.54 million tons, up 7.3 percent year on year.

 

India's crude steel production was 10.4 million tonnes, up 5.7% year-on-year;

 

Japan's crude steel output was 7.2 million tonnes, down 10.7 per cent year on year;

 

Crude steel production in the United States was 6.4 million tons, down 10.5 percent year on year;

 

Russian crude steel production is estimated at 5.6 million tons, down 9.6% year on year;

 

Crude steel production in South Korea was 4.8 million tons, down 18.1 percent year on year;

 

German crude steel production was 2.8 million tonnes, down 17.9 per cent year on year;

 

Turkey's crude steel production was 2.4 million tons, down 30.7% year on year;

 

Crude steel production in Brazil was 2.6 million tonnes, down 16.3% year on year;

 

Iran produced 2.9 million tons of crude steel, up 3.9 percent year on year.
